College Choice Satisfaction

In Blog by Suzanne Duncombe

Once accepted to schools they choose, the #1 factor in deciding which school a student attends is the financial aid package that students receive. The HERI (Higher Education Research Institute) Study found that not attending your first choice school had nothing to do with how satisfied students were with their college experience. 18% of students accepted to their first choice, chose another school citing financial issues, while satisfaction was equal between students who attended their first choice, and those that chose another school.
